Welcome to our Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU). This specialized unit provides critical care for patients with severe heart conditions, managed by expert cardiologists and nurses. Our CICU is equipped with advanced monitoring and life-saving devices to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Features:

• Continuous ECG and hemodynamic monitoring
• Invasive monitoring (e.g., central venous catheters, arterial lines)
• Treatment for conditions like heart attack (acute myocardial infarction), heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, severe hypertension/hypotension, aortic dissection, and pulmonary embolism.
• 24/7 open cathlab centre.
• Critical cardiac arrest management, including defibrillation and pacemakers
• Post-surgical care and pericardiocentesis
• Transoesophageal echocardiography (if needed for certain procedures)
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) for heart support
• Pulmonary artery pressure monitoring for assessing heart and lung function
